At their technical facilities, located in Mestrino and Monte di Malo, BARRY-WEHMILLER PACKAGING SYSTEMS ITALIA S.r.l. continues to test new structures to ensure that their packaging machinery solutions provide the highest quality seals across the latest eco-friendly film structures. Film types such as paper, recyclable films, and biodegradable and compostable films are routinely researched to ensure their packaging machinery can handle each films’ unique qualities without sacrificing bag quality.
In addition to offering these solutions on current equipment, further research at the facilities is being conducted on future materials that promise to protect the environment while increasing product shelf-life, thus reducing food waste.
