It was in 1969, following the idea of Aurelio Ricci, that FAMAR (the Ricci Automatic Machines Factory) was born, and with it, the first automatic blister machine on the Bolognese automation landscape.
More than 50 years have passed since that day, but our enthusiasm has not changed!
Our machines are designed with robust and long-lasting mechanical systems, a fact that is clearly demonstrated by the existence of numerous Famar machines which have been in use for over 30 years - machines still working perfectly and continuing to satisfy the customers’ production needs.
In 2015, FAMAR became part of the Curti Group, leader in mechanical machining and already present into the packaging field with end-of-line machines for the food and pharmaceutical industries.
This synergy makes possible, today more than in the past, the ability to present itself to world markets with innovative solutions, that respond appropriately to specific customer needs in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, nutraceutical and herbal sectors.
